SALLY HOCH, KID LIT AUTHOR

SBH Headshot.jpg

Sally Hoch is a kid lit writer who primarily writes middle grade novels and picture books. As a middle school teacher with a background in mathematics and school counseling (and a decade of experience in public schools), Sally's stories often have a STEM and SEL focus.

Sally is a proud STEM Girl! She loves mathematics, astronomy, chemistry, and physics. She loves taking dense, difficult concepts and writing about them in an accessible, kid-friendly way.

Sally's writing tends to be described by others as funny, analytical, clever, and (sometimes) poetic.

Sally is the Assistant Regional Advisor of SCBWI Oklahoma/Arkansas and leads the monthly OKC Connect meetings. (Join us at Full Circle Books on the third Tuesday of the month!) Sally is also a member of The Writing Barn's Courage to Create community.
